Wrestling History

Wrestling is nothing new a sport but it has been going on since a long way. The first match was recorded at the Olympics in 708 BC. Wrestling had a special significance which was a type of exercise done without weapons carried out by military people. There are two recognized versions of wrestling: Orthia pale: The objective of this wrestling type is to beat the opponent by throwing him on the ground. If the opponent falls on the ground for three times then he is declared a loser. The match has no time limit and continues till any one wins and declared triakter (winner). Kato pale: In this type of wrestling the winner is declared by raising up the right hand and the index finger pointing upwards. Here also the wrestling does not end until one of the person is defeated.

Pro wrestling was far from the first, and of course it’s far from the only wrestling out there today either, though many think the pro wrestler is the only one out there. While the roots of the sport called wrestling extend from nearly all walks of life and many centuries ago; today in a violent vulgar flurry of a gladiator style entertainment extravaganza professional wrestling is found.

The Officials of Wrestling

In wrestling (high school, college, scholastic and the like) the official list includes the mat chairman, a judge, and the referee. Unlike professional wrestling, the amateur wrestlers have consistent rules to follow, and are required to be sporting in their matches. These roles help keep the rules followed as well as several layers of review on the many aspects of the wrestling match. In the end, it keeps the sport one of good character among the wrestlers competing.
